happy 4th of July
On the Fourth of July, me, my sisters, and Bubba usually hang out and either
walk around watching other people's fireworks or go to a firework show in
the city. I usually drink by myself, but my sister drinks with me. This year, she
just got done throwing up, and I had to bring her bread and water, lmao.The
year before last, we walked to the Dollar Store and the firework tent, just
watching fireworks while I drank a little. Last year, we went to a city an hour
away to see a firework show, but it was lame. A little bit later, though, me and
Shaylee went to Florida and saw fireworks at this outside mall, which was way
better. We ended up drinking when we went back to the hotel and walked the
beach.This year, we bought water toys to play with in the front yard: a kiddie
pool, water guns, and small fireworks. We also got a bubble machine and a kite.
We paired it all with Smirnoff Red White and Berry and a bucket of Kinky Blue
Liqueur, which my sister drank with me!
We're going to the Cape show today for the Fourth! I’m wearing heels, a skirt, and a revealing but cute long-sleeve blouse. Bubba's wearing a striped red and white shirt with cute jeans, Kylie is wearing a dress, and Chas is wearing a skirt with a red short-sleeve shirt under a white button up. I even made Scotty look up a recipe for Jell-O shots, which are cooling in the fridge right now after we made them using Smirnoff Red, White, and Blue.
We started driving to Cape, but it was raining too hard and we were going to be late. We ended up turning around and going to the fireworks show in town at the river. It wasn't that fun for real, but Bubba loved watching them from the car while me and the girls watched outside. Kylie got some food from the food truck, and the fries were good! I saw a group of people I knew, but we didn't say anything to them. I felt a little over dressed since no one else did, but our outfits looked cute. Later, we went home, got changed, walked around watching other people's fireworks, and came back inside to take Jell-O shots
I really enjoyed yesterday and today! Bubba liked the fireworks and playing outside, and he was even pretty well-behaved while getting all dressed up. Taking pictures is one of my favorite hobbies, and the girls and I finally got a couple of photos together. We’ve been working on our websites and watching Family Guy all night. The Jell-O shots weren't that good, but I can't wait for next year! This page took a lot of time and effort, and now I need to finish my library book before its return date and complete my real estate course.
